Graduation, my dog Duke, and LOTD

So I thought I'll share a little about my life since I've moved back home and have a bit more to blog about. This is going to be mostly the reason why I wasn't able to post as frequently the last couple of days. For those who have no interest about reading that, but only in the LOTD... it will be the first thing I write about before anything else :P
Honestly, don't mind the mess. That is seriously the hallway that leads to my kitchen from the door. We have a small house and a big family.. space is a very valuable thing. BUT, if you an take your attention from the billion of things in the background and towards my outfit.. I will be able to tell you what I'm wearing :)

So moving from the LOTD to... my life!

I've just graduated from college with a Bachelors in Science and it has been a bit of a journey. With this college degree, however, its time to move on to the next stage: graduate school. The journey to becoming a veterinarian is not an easy one for sure.

I was seriously cheesing really hard.

After graduation, which was the day before Mother's Day, I had to finish packing and begin the long 6+ hours back home.. I didn't have to drive but sitting in the car on my buttocks for so long does take its toll. Also, we had to rush back to get...

Him. Meet the nuisance love of my life... Duke Theodore the VII (he was out of a litter of 7 puppies and also 7 is my favorite number)!
When I first got him home and he snuggled on a bed with Mr. Elephant and Ms. Bunny

When he first got his crate and a bit older

A little older..

And currently!

I had his shaved and he is starting to grow out his fur.. which means, another trip to the groomer! This time, he is getting some bangs and a nice trip, nothing too drastic. He is almost 6 months old! He is a full breed Yorkshire Terrier; his momma was a toy-size Yorkie and his pops was a tea-cup Yorkie... Duke is somewhere in between I think. That little bugger... PS, I was watching Inuyasha in the back =x

Love and Kisses,
