Beauty Haul!

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but I love to eat, sleep, and shop (or E.S.S); what a life huh? -.-'' I really do need to find some more new hobbies to do. I have been dogsitting, however, and while he is a charmer when asleep... he is a handful when he's awake. His name is Jones, a miniature Pinscher and despite his size, he has a lung on him. I am, of course, keeping in my apartments secretly for the week. Fingers crossed!

But besides dealing with Mister Jones, I've been scoping the internet out for swatches of blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, etc. and then deciding if it was worth the investment. Needless to say, I got a beauty haul (with several more coming up). I even have some clothes to match with it. My excuse was that I need it for my graduation in two weeks... a weak and very lame excuse. But hopefully this will benefit those who are trying to decide if the products are worth the purchase! This post only has swatches, not a full review of the products, I have a list I need to go through first before doing these unfortunately. But stay tuned!

The products shown from top to bottom, left to right: Benefits Sugarbomb, Benefits Dandelion, Benefit Boi~ing, Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Pale Pink and in Powder Pink, Bobbi Brown Metallic Eyeshadow in Sage.

Dandelion and Sugarbomb

Each Benefit blush comes with a plastic tray and a small brush.

Dandelion

Unfortunately the color didn't come out that well on my skin. It is a matte pinkish coral color; there weren't much of a sparkle in this blush. It's unfortunate that it didn't show up that well on my skin. It looks like there is a hint of sparkle but there is barely any.

Sugarbomb

This particular blush was very shimmery and I think I would use it a lot more during the summer time since it is a peach-y coral color. I am sad that they don't show up that well on my skin, however. Perhaps I can use it for more of a shimmery glow when I get tan.

Benefit Boi~ing

The color is the 02, out of the color choices. It says that it was a industrial strength concealer but I haven't really seen it to that so far. As you can see, I've used a bit but I was in a rush so perhaps I haven't used it correctly yet. Thus, I am still on fence about this product.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in Powder Pink and Pale Pink

Powder Pink

Pale Pink

I am in love with Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge. They are a bit on the expensive side an I debated a long time on whether I should buy them or not, but I decided on splurging since they are good for the cheeks and lips. I haven't tried them as a blush yet but I do love them on my lips. I wished the colors stayed much longer though, since I don't usually travel around with any lipstick besides a tinted lipbalm.

Sage Swatch

Bobbi Brown Metallic Eyeshadow Sage

This is definitely my new favorite eyeshadow color. It is a seaweed green with hints of gold glitter. This reminded me of my first Missha eyeshadow, that was green with flecks of gold. It is a beautiful color, which I definitely couldn't capture on camera, and I love how smooth the eyeshadow was. It stayed on all night, even through a Far East Movement concert! I definitely think I will invest more into Bobbi Brown's cosmetics. They did not disappoint.

I hope you enjoyed my little beauty haul! I definitely will have more coming and I can't wait to actually start reviewing the new products I've brought!

PS, here is Mister Jones!
What are you looking at?
