Summer is definitely the season where all bright colors are let loose and are unjudged (somewhat)! I love wearing bright colors in the summer because it is the time when I can wear less make up on my face, allowing for a natural tan to come through, and put bright colors everywhere else! However, for those who don't have much intention of whipping out the bright eyeshadows to contour and make a gradient of colors, there are other methods to create a bright summery look! How?

Color eyeliners!
I usually put the bright colors on the bottom, thus I am still able to put black eyeliner on top to help the look of thicken my lashes. Bright colors on the bottom add pop to a look and instantly draw your attention to your eyes.
As shown, I've only changed the colors on the bottom lash; bright blue, green, purple (yes it is suppose to be purple)! Experiment with other colors! I would stay away, however, from pinkish purples because it can cause your eyes to look bloodshot. Approach those colors with caution!
I typically pair this look with a peach-y blush and bright pink lipstick, nothing too neon though.

It is simple and tons of fun to experiment the colors with. The best part is that you don't necessarily have to use color eyeliners! Bright eyeshadows can be used instead, with an eyeliner brush, and it works just the same!
